All the Snacks

I discovered these on a trip to Tokyo in December 2019. At the time, I was very excited about buying as many Kit Kat flavors as possible and did not pay much attention to other chocolates. It was not until we returned to Boston that I discovered how amazing these bite-sized chocolate squares are for a sweet snack. Of course, I became obsessed and read all about them to learn that there are hundreds of flavors. In Boston, I tried looking for them in many Asian grocery stores, but only a limited selection is available in the US. My favorite ones have mochi inside, like this matcha one.   I love matcha and crunchy snacks, so the ROYCE' Matcha Bar brings together two of my favorite things in one single bar!  I usually prefer a stronger matcha flavor, but the crunchiness of macadamia nuts, pecans, cashews, almonds, and puffs makes up for that.
